It comes down to them wanting to understand Religion, but they completely miss out on the Esoteric meanings of Key words, such as ""Waters"", within the Esoteric meanings it specifically means Masses of People, or also Souls, so when they read that the Earth is ""Flat"", they don't get the meaning of Flat either, when they read there is a ""Dome"", they totally miss out on that one too, and Waters over the Dome, leaves them clueless....
You really can't even joke with some of them as they take everything literally....
More credence is being given to theorists every day as theories are being proven true. Not all theories may be plausible, but critical thinking is going on and the "rabbit hole" is deep.
