My son had a one on one a few years ago that couldn't help him with his work. Mind you he's dyslexic. He needed a one on one to read the material, and write down his answers. I scribed for him at home, so I can tell you this woman was a fucking idiot. And, it caused him to go back to misbehaving. Btw, your gf may find this funny. My son had a one on one because he would be an absolute ass and then say, " I'll behave it you read it to me.". This woman was hired specifically to prevent that, and she couldn't.

He's had reading intervention now, but he was so good at manipulating that he didn't get diagnosed until 8th grade! ( and it was his grandfather that figured it out, not the school) That grown woman couldn't do below 8th grade work. And, don't forget I was doing all the studying, and homework scribing. I did not let my kids get away with most of the things they got away with at school. Multiple times they told me my standards were too high. And I told them their standards weren't high enough.
