What happens when we have our elders explain their concept of reality to us
In short...each one of the young has to discern for self between perceivable reality and the suggested explanations by others about reality.
Fundamentally...EX (expressed growth aka living) PLAIN (open loss aka process of dying). Expressed growth by others doesn't represent ones own expressed growth within impressing loss. Agreeing/disagreeing with others or following them ignores expressed growth.
Etymological...CONCEPT (Latin concipere) - "to take and hold onto" tempts one to ignore that being (life) within motion (inception towards death) simultaneously tempts one to hold onto (want); while teaching one to let go (need)...a discernible choice within a balance (need/want).
Example...try holding onto an apple and notice that the natural order dissolves its form. If others suggest you an apple; then they are tempting you to want to take and hold onto it, yet resisting that temptation will allow you to comprehend the perceivable need underneath the suggested want...hunger.
Just as the apple rots away within motion, so does your resistance within hunger rots away.
