I can't figure out how FedNow is the new payment processor, and none of the payment processors are making any noise. I freely admit that I'm missing something. I would expect the current processing companies to be in an uproar.
I'm sure they struck some sort of backroom deal. It's generally not in federal interests to allow competition.
Just look what happened to the post office once UPS and FedEx showed up. Now govt employees actually have to provide a competitive service in order to get paid. Poor bastards.
