I'm not worried about it, but during the cold war, Russia built bomb shelters and stocked them with potassium iodide. In schools in the US, we did a drill call "drop" where we dropped under our desk and placed our hands over our head. The running joke was, place your head between your legs and kiss your ass goodbye
