It is possible not to understand. When I was a teen I had a Bible that had KJV on the left, and what it meant on the right. There's a huge difference in what I understood back what others around me understood.
But, I don't like when, " you just don't understand" is used when there's a disagreement. I understand, I don't agree!
I was raised to appreciate the differences. You see it when I point out that I wouldn't have paid attention to a topic, but when someone brings it to my attention I find it interesting why they thought it was interesting. And, the topics can surprise me that they're interesting too.
I'm a weirdo. I was raised by a single black man. So, I have a whole lot of, " Just like your father habits". But, I'm still very feminine in lots of ways.
I read this article last night ( I like drama to be other people's!), and you may enjoy it. It left me wanting more examples!
