A lot of that was a psy op. All of these biotech/pharmaceutical companies can and do (and are 100% legally required to) conduct pharmacovigilance programs for all of their products. Part of the psy op is deflecting people from reporting side effects directly with the manufacturer directly. By law, most of these companies have 3 calendar days max to report a suspected adverse reaction. Anyone can do it. And any employee (even contractors subject to the law workign for said companies) are legally obligated to report adverse reactions.
