No joke for real. I used to beable to see 1000s upon 1000s of stars. the last couple times I've went out on clear nights theres only around 10-15 visible stars. I checked online to see if others have noticed this (nothing found) and what fake stream science has to say which is always worth a laugh - https://www.space.com/hunt-for-universe-missing-stars-space-mysteries
regardless this is weird to me. I don't live in a city, I'm on the outskirts of a small town way up north so i don't think light pollution is a thing.
Clouds.
...and you need new glasses.
clear sky.
.. also 20/20 vision
I'm fairly certain you're still speaking shit. It's the sort of thing everyone would notice, right?
Although I am a bit freaked out that the last time I saw "stars" walking the dog was during the Jupiter/Venus conjunction a week ago and they were extremely bright, the only visible things in the sky aside from the moon on a clear night.
That being said I wasn't actively looking for other stars, so maybe it's just cloudy and they were especially bright.
...you've got me wondering and looking out the window like an idiot. Good job.
I remember decades ago being able to see so many stars with naked eyes I was amazed.
Now so much light pollution, exhaust, space junk in our atmosphere, chemtrails I don't see too many stars either.
Could just be my perception or nostalgia.
check and report back, thats sounds like what i was seeing tbh
I checked and confirmed. There are still lots of stars. We're going to be OK.
