From a quick read somewhere, he was the inventor of the russian vaccine.
Seems to be putins calling card doesnt it. Either being choked to death, or thrown out a window :|.
My guess is he was close to a real vaccine, and we cant have that. Not when the powers that be have put so much effort and work into their plan.
