it is a big deal... and the report is just the tip on the iceberg.
Az Senate hearing on this was last Thursday - total news blackout. Not ever Newsmax or OANN seems to have picked it up. Definitely nothing from Faux News or the leftist media.
I'm not sure about funding, but they name names - which would invite defamation lawsuits, so they better have their ducks in a row.
I agree. But I believe the totality of the corruption we don't see is to expansive they will kill people to stop it from gaining a wider audience, let alone be heard in a court. For News Max and OANN to have not covered it says something.
This seems like a big deal.
Who is funding this group?
Definitely feels like someone flipped a switch and decided it was time to go after the cartels.

The defamation suits would just draw attention to it, so I doubt that will happen.
My guess is they’ll do some clever lawfare bs, maybe lean on a comp’d judge or DA.
And then people will forget.
I hope I’m wrong.

Sometimes it boggles my mind why the GOP doesn’t talk more about the cartel and corruption.
As if the border is some magic anti corruption line the cartel can’t cross with bribes and violence lol.
I just don’t see the right losing an immigration/border security debate if they reframe the issue around the cartel and corruption.
Literally every migrant is paying the cartel at least $1000, often more.
Anyone who is soft on those issues should be immediately cast under suspicion of potential bribery and corruption.
