also, our military is fucked. career NCO's have to be vomiting. i can't imagine any of my drill sergeants willingly serving under this crap.
I'm good friends with someone serving in the Air Force who plans on retiring next year. He never cared for the politics becoming increasingly pervasive as he stepped up the officer ranks to begin with; but I've never seen him so disillusioned with senior leadership than now. He never says it outright, but the hints are everywhere with how he talks about retirement and the rare occasions he talks about general happenings at work.
Didn't the military add trans medical needs to their benefits to try and draw more people to enlist?
