According to reporter Seymour Hersh, US divers planted C4 charges that were later activated by a Norwegian surveillance plane. But the most interesting part of the story is that the next day Norway opened a new pipeline to connect Norway with Europe becoming a major gas provider to the EU.

Just when the Norwegians helped the Americans blow up the nord stream, they've readied a new pipeline. But to my surprise, I discovered that the head of NATO is also Norwegian.
