Question here, so if the sun disappears due to perspective, would it still appear wide when it sets or would it be a point of light before disappearing, not sure??

It has to do with the gases in the atmosphere, picture a neon tube. The neon GAS gets excited by the electricity and glows. Question then is what gas is in our atmosphere that glows with a green hugh? I'm willing to say that there's a scientific reason why that gas is last to be excited by the energy of the sun.

Everything has a scientific reason behind it, but science today is flawed. But i agree, this should be easily figured our right?

It also might have to do with the distance that it looks greenish to us at that moment?
