So i wrote a similar one some days ago on conpro, i figured this may spark some interesting discussion here too.
I have been trying out the raw meat/eggs/milk diet, or better implementing it into my own one.
It seems to have been a breakthrough for me, similarly to barefoot shoes earlier this year.
Energy levels are up, libido is up, recovery is up, mood is all times high, health seems way up just from a short period.
If you want to learn why people like me try to get into this, this is a good video (if you tolerate her quirks) to get started:
There is also this guy that gave a lot of decent reasoning for its adoption.
If you want to make this as an experiment you can go with raw eggs that are very low risk if shopped organic.
3 raw eggs plus 200ml milk plus sugar or honey, shake, drink, this is now my standard brekfast (i just doubled the eggs). Tastes absolutely divine and fueled with energy.
Also in raw foodism you focus on eating organs. So not much benefit in eating raw ground or hamburgers, but rather hearts, kidneys, livers etc. And fish too.
There are also ways to decrease risk if you are uncomfortable about the meat quality, such as freezing to kill parasites, and letting soak in lemon juice to kill bacteria.
Overall it seems to me after a decent amount of time eating raw that it is just what our stomach naturally evolved to process.
Anything can. What's your point?
Also, i don't eat hamburgers.
Thought we were talking about raw meat. I've been food service trained. My fucking point is that raw fucking hamburger can kill a person.
Anything raw can kill a person if he's unlucky enough to have that thing put in contact with bacteria.
Meats just have extra risk because of what the animal does.
Same as fish.
Same as tartares, carpaccios, and many others you wouldn't point out because we have always ate them and thus is retarded to point it out.
Freshwater fish needs to be cooked. Eating a raw beef tenderloin would be fine, the fat is where the bacteria lives. E coli is what kills. Never eat raw pork, turns into worms. Chicken...no fucking way.
Wtf is going on here? The appendix, the organ that let us eat shit, was breed out of us long ago, when we started cooking.
Yeah pork is verboten, seems gross and dirty. I also didn't try chicken, and don't think i will.
It's just beef and eggs for me
And what kind of argument is the appendix? Can you eat a tartare? yes. What's the problem?
breh.... like beef tar-tar...
you can order a chicken tar-tar. its the best. its mild but savory. melts in your mouth.
just dont leave that bitch out for 4 days before you serve it.
