All these years "wear sunscreen, UV light causes mutations and cancer," and yet women thought the same light was totally safe when using in their vain habit?
Sun screen causes cancer too.....probs more than the "radiation" ever will. Infact I highly suspect the Sun gives cancer at all. And instead the "skin cancer" is a symptom of something else underlying inside the body. Poor lifestyle, diet, shit like this.
don't know if there's formal studies, but it oughta be pretty easy to compare rates of skin cancer between different jobs in the trades. if the sun is causing skin cancer, then roofers and concrete/cement guys should be at higher risk than, say, drywallers and flooring guys.
Funny ... my grandparents and most of my close family worked all day in the sun in the fields ... NEVER USED ANY STUPID sun screen ... no one ... literally NO ONE IN THE WHOLE FUCKING VILLAGE EVER GOT SKIN CANCER !
"The cumulative evidence before the 1980s showed a relatively strong positive association between melanoma and sunscreen use (cumulative OR: 2.35; 95% CI: 1.66-3.33). The strength of the association between risk of skin cancer and sunscreen use has constantly decreased since the early 1980s, and the association was no longer statistically significant from the early 1990s. While the current evidence suggests no increased risk of skin cancer related to sunscreen use, this systematic review does not confirm the expected protective benefits of sunscreen against skin cancer in the general population."
never wear sunglasses (unless you are an alpinist or hardcore open-seafarer), because that disrupts your eye->melanin signaling
stop eating seeds, grains, nuts, seed oils (excess OMEGA-6 cause inflammation and make you more likely to get a sunburn -> skin damage -> skin cancer risk)
moderate sun exposure
make sure you get enough astaxanthin, bio-available copper, beta-carotene and omega-3 oils to protect your skin
This way sun is not only not risky, but healthy (NO synthesis, glycocalyx health, active vitamin D in plasma, melatonin secretion, proper circadian entrainment, etc).
I literally just came out the dentist. Had two fillings, refused the injections cos I don't trust them now. Was painful, but not as bad as the extraction in November. Anyway, they use these UV pen things to cure the amalgam and honestly I could feel that shit burning my mouth like a direct laser. Must floss more.
Yoo. I don't trust medicine but like whats the alternative to dental injections, silly gas? Just suck it up and have to bare the pain? I'm in quite a turmoil about this topic.
I've had an extraction and two fillings without any anaesthetic in the last 3 months. When I had dental work in the past I had injections but I let my hatred for the system and love of God fuel my ability to transcend the pain. I try and sort of meditate to take my mind off it but the endorphins are a ride too. The extraction was crazy I'd recommend focusing on not getting to that point. It fucking hurts, but you'll be okay it's temporary pain there are far worse things and it is important to cultivate mental strength and pain threshold. Brush your teeth though, there are good toothpastes now without flouride, avoid at all costs any need to engage with pharmaceutical products or procedures.
I've made a lot of art with UV epoxy, and I've always just assumed this. Why is this surprising? Better yet, what useful but not evident purpose do these serve that TPTB don't want us to have?
It could very well be true, but it could also be another smokescreen to cover up for the sudden increase in 'mysterious' deaths that have been happening lately.
So.... we're surprised because...?

Good idea. It would control for a lot of confounding variables elegantly.

All looked far better than the city dwellers !

I did a whitening. It burns your teeth white. I really wasn't expecting the feeling it gave.

I've been avoiding fluoride and thought I kept my teeth good but still got cavities.

Same, I make my own PCBs, and the solder mask comes in tubes that reacts to this....
... unfortunately im no nail artist, though I get a load of it on me...
... Also fuck that chinese guy who sold me cured in the tube solder mask
also fuck White solder mask, it cures way too slowly and fails to stick to the copper due to the reflection, Green Powar!
How do you make your own PCBs? That's fucking cool
Sort of like this but with a cheapo machine

All UVA/B do that, it's a function of intensity and exposure.
Yes, every cell you kill, or dies, has a chance to not regrow how it supposed to.
That's cancer for ya.
That's what existence as a mortal is like. What a waste of money.
