Because most likely another infection will be on the way shortly after unless you make adjustments. For example, my parents loved giving antibiotics. Every time I had diarrhea I would get a dose. Of course it was like my gut biome getting hiroshima'd. So sure enough, a few months later my weekend immune system would get sick again. Since learning about other options it's been about 20 years since I've taken antibiotics. I will take activated charcoal and encapsulated oregano oil. All good. I hardly get sick. No one working in a hospital would encourage this for fear of getting sued and it also makes you independent. Another example was that fevers were considered cures and allowed to run their course. Tylenol and such will stop them. But the fever never gets to finish its job and more disease will be on the way. Crazy high fevers might need western medicine intervention as something has gone awry. Thomas Cowan has a good book on vaccines and how the body normally would treat such things. Of course a westerner but not the standard methods practiced by the healthcare business. Think money. These people want money more than your wellbeing.
I am talking about treating a sepsis, not handing out antibiotics like candy.
Are you living in a country where antibiotics don't require a prescription?
Yes. Still, at the slightest infection a doctor will prescribe antibiotics. Because it's the accepted protocol for infection. Even if infection is slight, and doctor doesn't prescribe, then infection gets worse, doctor could get sued. So to be safe, they prescribe.
I already gave you my take on sepsis. Western med is tops in ER care. But that's basically all it does. Plug holes.
The thing is, I would bet that there were a series of events that led to sepsis. A system out of balance exacerbated by western medicine.
A good example, how you breathe affects you cardiovascular health. Higher liter per minute intake of air can lead to heart attack. Think if you are constantly hyperventilating. You go to doctor, he doesn't even ask how you breathe, notices your heart is jacked, gives you pills. They have side effects. You get more pills to cure. They have side effects. Eventually you get heart attack, go to ER. They manage to keep you alive. You get out and comment how great it is that western medicine was able to save your life. You could have just adjusted your breathing 5 years before.
Again, in your country? Because that is highly unusual.
This is my experience in the US. Go to a doctor with an infection and they'll have to treat it in the way that is surest and fastest regardless of secondary effects. Anyways, I think I made my point. Standard practice protocols just lead to more problems down the line and merely stamp out symptoms without really curing the person.
