Peanuts in Rusia and USSR was not delicacy at all, peanuts imported from South America, India and Africa in huge amounts. Russia is one of the largest importers of peanuts. It is a part of many products and I doubt that we eat less peanuts than Americans. Peanut butter as separate product is not very popular, but a lot of cookies and snacks. Even in distant village grocery, you will find salted peanuts and cookies/cakes with them.
So, there is definitely some unknown factor. I'm in doubt that Russian food corporations and authorities somehow care about citizens health, and hardly climate plays so significant role.
I also never heard about high level of peanut allergy in Asia or any other place except West. Also interesting that US/Canada is not significantly differ from West Europe.
What could be the reason of 10 times more peanuts allergy that is very specific exclusively for West? Nutrition? Medicine?
Or there could be another explanation - BigPharma want to sell more anti-allergic drugs so inflating allergyhoax, just like they do with coronahoax, but sloper.
So, to find out what is really happening fist you need to find out does that allergy rise real, and then, if it does, find out what is significantly different between countries wil low and high allergy that could be connected with allergy.
JFYI
Something is weird with allergies, at least with food ones.
In Russia, peanut allergy among children measured as ~0.09% - 0.1% F.e. on the sample size of 13000 children in Tomsk region: https://www.lsgeotar.ru/kharakteristika-evolokumaba-yego-effektivnost-lechenii-giperlipidemii.html - in Russian, use online translator, it's not the only paper with that estimates).
AFAIK on the West 1-2% vulnerable to peanuts.
So, 10 times difference out of nothing.

Also found a map of allergies rise from Nature, 2006 - https://germguy.files.wordpress.com/2017/03/allergy-rise.jpg but not shure about validity, since Nature usually paywalled and it is hard to search through it to find a source.
