Why would the elite want a cashless society? Cash enables them to hide transactions and avoid taxes.
More plausibly, they don't want you pulling all your money out of Wells Fargo or Etrade, or whatever shit company you save your money in.

You've heard of bailouts but have you heard of bail ins? Check out the super vague language below. Also notice, depositers are on the list of funds that can be confiscated. That's right, your checking and savings accounts.
