Most will only if they think they can then take power because they call out the fraud themselves.

Dangerous game....they may be first mover...but perhaps not to their advantage. As they may be struck down....and killed by blind zealots....this then informs others to be more cautious and act in secret...

Or...they may attempt to join the side of the shaman...approach and mention that they know the secret...but they will be a pawn for power.....a slice of the proverbial pie.
