I think it is the reverse. People are naturally cruel to victim souls/the narcissists victim. The flying monkeys and average people somehow pick up on the vibe or body language and attack the weak. People follow the will to power and align themselves unconsciously with it. That is why most people instinctively support the apparent leading political ideas and will flip with the power.
