Well this is certainly a head scratcher. We know its real, since we have multiple videos of it. And I think that second video you linked does support the theory that it is a reflection....
You notice, as the lights cross there, the light blinks. Aliens dont use blinking lights lol. So my first thought was that it was manmade.
That second video makes it obvious, to me that its the lights converging and being reflected, you will notice how the light has a more profound spinning motion in that second video.
It's a reflection, however.
Light pillars are usually just that, pillars, to reflect blobs of light, seems strange to me.

Very imperfect reflections.
But my closing thoughts, likely is a weather phenomenon, but perhaps something else was up there reflecting back the light, not just ice crystals.
