There could be something in it, really. I don't remember any quality made meme that targeted conspirologists. Not a single one. Only some shit that hardly could impress even a completely dumb person.
From the other side, there could be no any "meme counternarrative" at all.
From the third side, WEF terrorist organisation multiple times mentioned how important information war, so their shills had to spent enormous money on conteractions to conspirologists memes, that sometimes somehow works on some sheeple.

They don't need to resort to memes when they control all the sources of 'information'. Memery is the harmless sandbox they allow the 'rebellion' to play in whilst pretending that it actually makes any kind of difference at all.
Government forces, especially globalised and all-powerful ones are NOT shitting bricks at clever memes, sorry. They have actual power. And actual control over the masses. They have money. They control money. It is money that talks, not comic strip nonsense.

Of course not. But they definitely want to somehow lower any possible influence of freethinkers on public.

You underestimate the power of propaganda. With wisely created propaganda you could multiply their money by zero.
Propaganda is a direct influence on people minds. And their fake fiat money exist only in people minds. They have all their money and power only because most people blindly believe in their money and power. If you will be able to propagandize critical thinking, you will be able to destroy their money and power. Memes could be tools of propaganda. So, theoretically, you could trash "them" with memes. Of course I don't see any serious attempts to do it, but I definitely see that memes works to some extent. I don't know how to enhance their efficiency, but I think there should be ways to do it.
So, while I think that government does not shitting bricks at memes, I suppose that they definitely feel some threat even with all their ignorant arrogance.

IDK, but I will not throw out that theory.
