When I think about how it may be possible to fix what's wrong in the world, it's obvious that you must have a decent understanding of how it actually operates. What you're talking about is a big part of that reality, whatever our opinion of it is.
There are but few, even among the "awake", who display that they have taken the effort to understand and incorporate what you described into their worldview. All the others prefer instead to live in a pseudo-reality of their own design where they feel safe and superior because they "know what's going on"
Which, in my book, puts them right back in the same boat as all the other NFL fans.
