The truth is that most modern governments and the companies they contract with are too stupid to build nuclear power plants.
They can barely keep the ones already in operation operable.
I think I wrote some long posts about the failure of nuclear energy in America and no new reactors going online in 30 years. I'm too tired to go looking for it.
