Put a black box around what caused you to feel the way you do and how exactly that was accomplished. It seems to me that that is precisely how the Dark Occultists would prefer everyone who might offer them resistance would feel.
You're free to hand them a victory over yourself, but you may want to reconsider spreading such an idea to others. Well, unless that was your point.
In my personal point of view, you can compare it to telling a young teenager their patents have given them a drug that damages their heart with a 90% mortality rate in 10 years. Yes, they are going to be upset and demoralized. But it is a truth, and you dud not commit the action. Maybe most teens would be self destructive, but some would do great things, like Terry Fox. Or have a spiritual journey.
Some people would argue to just let the kid be a kid, and stay in ignorance. Maybe there is nothing good that would come out of it, but maybe just maybe with the warning, they can find a way to be healthy.
If people are demoralized by the truth, it is a separate issue that needs improvement. Conspiracies are about learning the truth... in the past, people were raised with better coping skills. If the current year is about learning the truth, maybe in the coming years, society will learn to increase moral... maybe that is the job of spiritualists, not conspiracy theoriests.
