People are aware they DIE. There are public awareness enough to return people back to their senses by vanquishing evil. They did not and only relied on politicians or ready made opposition to fight. Or they simply are NOTHING. They are simply too good and too naive, and refused to believe some people had to be dismantled because they only want to see the world burn, thus cannot be reasoned with or even fought with, they had to be UPROOTED, non-lethally so they are forced to beg. Therefore, for their troubles and naivete, they DIED.
