Just as another data point, if you asked anyone to name famous Native Americans, in the top three would be Crazy Horse. That wasn't always his name. Turns out the names his mother called him by his entire life translate to "curly son" and "light-hair".

Knowing that, take a look at this pic and ask yourself if you believe that's really him.
