When he took office he just had the IQ of a spoiled brat with a silver spoon in his mouth. He never had to truly work and achieve anything. No strength from overcoming real hardships. He supposedly had some photo-op career in the military. I'd be surprised if it was actually a full active term. Was probably a flunky in school. But when he took office he at least had cognitive function, even if he was just shucking and jiving while Cheney and co. ran the military industrial complex and got rich off zionism and exploitation in middle east.
The media was pretty fucking nasty toward Bush from 2004 onward. And much of the hatred was led by Pelosi and Harry Reid. But also the media turned heavy against Bush/Cheny. Then Obama got the kid glove treatment and media never even tried to look objective again.
In the 90's, media was still professional enough to at least try to give the appearance of objectivity. Even though that professionalism and journalistic objectivity had steadily been in decline dating back to the early days of television broadcast.
