ever single culture from ancient Greece to egypt to china to south America all believed the earth was at the center in an enclosed realm. want proof? look into the Antikythera mechanism (a geocentric clock and calendar)
the entire concept of a planet didn't exist in ancient times. The word planet comes from "Astra Planeta" which means wondering star.
