On the steve-o podcast he did he explained one of the ways his family/Nick tries to fuck with him. They put a restraining order on him so he couldn't communicate with them directly without getting into a bunch of trouble and then they did stuff like send him messages on Christmas trying to bait a reply. He's obviously broken but it makes a ton of sense if you know shit rolls downhill. Big bro took that adult dicking for his 15 minutes and then the family crumbles as he pays that evil forward.
