Idk about reptilians but I've long thought there is an ancient lost knowledge aspect to it. The purely barbaric animalistic part of the human brain is called the "reptilian brain" in modern times and true psychopaths are said to be operating from their "reptilian brain" while their limbic system is a developmental mess. But this is all understood from modern neurological sciences, so how were ancient peoples making the connection about the "reptilian brain" when constantly using serpents and lizards to represent dark triad type entities? As a kid I never would've looked at a lizard and thought "yep, this right here represents evil and deceit and death", I actually thought reptiles were pretty cool tbh. So again how were ancient peoples making a connection that would be validated by neuroscience thousands of years later?
I mentioned this the other week. But there is legit a case of a man who was born with a reptilian, 3 chamber heart, Instead of a mammalian 4 chamber heart.
Aliens came here and educated early civilizations to help us advance spiritually. Those they educated used the knowledge to control the masses and suppress the advancement. Early races segregated themselves and probably didnt share alien tech with one another. Some aliens are service to others types and service to self. Service to self are conquering types and are typically depicted as these reptilian humanoids. Hell there could even be bug ones like in rick and morty. We cant be the only humanoids in the universe, and for all we know the transhuman agenda is an AI that lives in the elites electric field and helps manipulate them to create AI that will eventually kill us and hack good AI. If we could go into space it would end hunger, supply and resource shortages and elites lose control. but if the solar system is staked by others and we are stuck with what we have then the elite dont want to give up control to tell us there is possible help waiting out there if only we knew. Like some sort of help line(911), cus if we knew then they would be trapped here with a very angry group. Who really knows. If you believe in the One spirit (god) then we are all manifestations of it whether we are a distortion or illusion, but what history we are told and the knowledge kept from us it seems we are devolving. Tech should help us advance spiritually by allowing us more time to do that and share with others. Communism and tyranny are secular and go the opposite direction of spirituality.

I dont think these represent our creators. Our ancestors werent allowed to depict their actual form, for some reason.
I think the "mainstream" explanation is that this represents the constant cycle of death and birth.
But I think its representative of the reoccurring cataclysms that happen.
