The old Voat (.co) has been gone since Dec 2020, but Voat.xyz (an approximate clone that is not related to the original) has been around since shortly after, and most of the prolific posters remain to this day.
On a scale of 1 to 10 where 1 is reddit clone and 10 being voat, where would that fit in, in your opinion?
I miss the old voat, but if that was where most actually migrated too, it would be worth the signing up to an extra site.
Every site is dead, really. Voat is Voat, but the user base is about 1/50th the size. Arete.network is also Voat users. But most of us are just still here.
I'd say it's 50% of the old Voat, but nothing like Reddit; perhaps more like 50% old Voat and 50% conspiracies.win.

Well how great was Voat really, if the faggots who owned it ignored all the calls by us to raise money direct from users, and instead just shut it down... right when the world ended and a site like Voat was needed the most?
Community and information sharing is what matters, and I'm just offering a link to an alternative, not "calling it Voat", faggot. I even said it was an "approximate clone" and that it was "not related to the original".

Last time I was on it, you couldn't post without Karma, and you couldn't get karma without posting. Making it impossible to post. That and none of the users had enough brain cells to even read a title, let alone comprehend a topic.
