So i recently bought into the barefoot pill. Here's the no-bs rundown.

Human foot isn't made to walk like our shoes want it to. The foot natural walk is to put weight on the external part and do not touch ground with the inner part.

Also the body flow of walking isn't 'back to forward' but it has a twist, a wave that it naturally forms to avoid bones clutching on each other which over a long term, after the protection (cartilage) wears off, is insanely painful and damaging.

The shoe-induced way of walking without twist rotation also obviously compromise posture and leg muscles, over a long term.

It has been a little over a week i have got my barefoot shoes and instructions on how to reset my walking style, needless to say it already feels a lot better and somewhat more energetic legs.

Obviously those are just a way to mimic no-shoes walking, aka not putting your foot in a weird position that change your natural pattern. So you don't really need to buy them to start, just practice therapy walk while barefooted somewhere. Recommended.

I suggest researching the topic well and perhaps visiting a specialist if you haven't already. It's a massive invisible problem, and it has implications.

Feels weird this wasn't debated on here before, so while i didn't feel that ready to make the post i felt compelled to ring a bell, too.

As i had now the inspiration to post it but perhaps not best time for exposure i'll feel free to repost it later today perhaps.
