Some of us know the dangers of these substances full well. For example, about a half hour after I eat some GMO wheat-based dough, as in some frozen pizza crusts, I get sick with GI tract problems. It's repeatable and I tracked it to probably roundup-resistance wheat. I know I never have the same problem with organic, GMO-free wheat.
Similar problems with oats - the organic variety brands do not cause problems, the GMO-ones do.
I hate to think what that stuff is doing to many people.
A lot of that processed food is going to have all kinds of shit done to it to preserve it and make it look good on the shelf. I don't buy anything premade anymore, I just get the raw ingedients and We make it ourselves , if We don;t We look up how to on youtube. Youtube censorship sucks , but WOW what a resource for cooking recipe videos
Once I switched to doing real cooking and using clean ingredients, it helped me stay healthy. In contrast, I have friends I know I will outlive, and they are younger than me. And I have outlived so many of my old high school and even college friends. If schools spent more time on health maintenance education and even alternative wholistic medicine principles and less on climate change and equality, things would be much better.
Whole wheat breads have the most residual glyphosphate, which is all I used to eat :(
Frozen pizzas used to be my guilty pleasure, so I got a knockoff KitchenAid stand mixer (Hamilton beach I think), and now make my own pizza dough. Which is oddly more filling than commercial pizza and doesn't make me feel hungover the next day.
