We're all brainwashed in a lot of ways.

a) there's only one way for life...being moved from inception towards death. Others suggest ways; hence tempting one at the crossroads.

b) consenting to suggested (information) over perceivable (inspiration) gives others the power to define; redefine and contradict the suggested information at will; hence brainwashing all those who consent to uphold it within their memory.
