Medvedev, like Lavrov, doesn't fuck around with word salads.
Blunt. To the point.
The west is totally under estimating Russia.
Lost the knowledge of the art of war.
Any military unit is as strong as its weakest link.
We used to wash the weak ones out as fast as possible.
Couldn't stand gutless, spineless troops in our pararescue unit.
Now most units are entirely weak links.
Full of fucking pronouns confused about who they are.
Yea, I really enjoy getting their latest communication.
I have no idea what is going on, I am completely baffled why people on the west think this is something that we can do.
I always picture some super secret end game weapon the west has in order to bolster their position internally.
When the commander of NORAD laments that we have no defence against Russian hypersonic missiles, that speaks volumes to the fact we have nothing to counter them.
We spent over 20 years depleting our military sources over drug dealers and goat herders.
In that same time Russia was quietly upgrading their weapon technologies.
Well, not really that quietly, I recall a few occasions where Putin stated that in response to the west actions, a return to military development would happen.
Everyone laughed and said 'pffftt' old russian gear aint no threat.
Seems today it's a different story, North Korea, China and Russia have all launched ground based hypersonic missiles reliably and still nothing from the usa or anyone else in the west.
Given Russia had them first, I think we can understand the connection in the military ranks. I also suspect that Iran has them or will at any moment.
Quietly in the sense the collective west wasn't taking Russia seriously.
They sadly viewed Russia through the cold war lens that Russia was still the old Soviet Union.
Like they still do.
Yep, exactly how I recall it.
lol, it's true cause buttpox don't work on them.
I hope it's not complicity and putting on a show for the masses.
We have the art of the deal bro...we gucci
Yep, a third world country living a first world lifestyle.
Making broke as fuck look great!
I'll put this out there because I think many of us have seen enough at this point not to rule anything out:
There's a theory that Medvedev is a descendant (or clone!) of Tsar Nicholas II, to whom he bears more than a striking resemblance. These are very strong words coming from him, a man who until recently has been so mild as to make the conservative Putin look like a firebrand in comparison. He's also a Russian statesman, who play their cards very close to the vest. Are the Romanovs looking for payback a century later in a very, very deep game?
What counter-evidence do we really have, besides arguments from personal incredulity?
I honestly think it runs very deep, the animosity of coming to an understanding of your humiliating past, realizing your entire society has been completely subverted and subjugated by external forces.
I agree, he has certainly shifted his tone and mannerisms. I think the gloves have to come off at some point here.
