That's complete bullshit. Any egyptologist who says the sphinx is 7,000 years old is because they're FROM Egypt meaning they're Muslim and follow the Quran which says the whole earth is no more than 7,000 years old.
The water erosion clearly places the age of the sphinx before the last ice age
I linked to one of the few people to ever publish a paper on the matter, and who literally brought the theory to people’s attention with John Anthony West starting in the 90s. He admits his dating is the minimum age based on the water erosion, and acknowledges the strength of the other arguments, such as Leo alignment placing it at 10,500 or even one cycle earlier at 36,500 years ago.
I'm sure you know that the ancients, including or especially the Egyptians, were all about "Mirroring the sky" which has become "As above, so below" to the cabal, rightly or wrongly.
I stumbled on this when reading Ignatius Donnelly's writings in the 70s. (ouch)
It's been amusing to watch how the ideas went from an almost totally unknown obscurity to the public, to a theme being obscured on tv every night by the Discovery/History channels. Kind of amazed an awakening is actually happening, but there's a long way to go yet, huh?

The key word was “minimum”
Leo alignment wouldn't have been coincidental and explains much.
I agree, especially given how nicely that data dovetails with the Orion’s Belt alignment of the 3 pyramids just north
