Never give up. Do the hard work it takes to get things in order just enough to take the next step toward something better. Let go of the past. Cling to the unknown in the future. No matter what you've lost, you can gain so much when you never give up. Don't beat off, cut out drugs and alcohol, don't ever regret, just move forward, find people you enjoy talking with and show them commensurate respect. Show respect to others and be sincere, in general; being snarky or sarcastic is often a ploy to shield yourself from being mocked, etc. Think of my comment that you replied to last week - I left myself open to that other user potentially being a troll, like you mentionef. I was willing to be sincere, regardless of whether the guy was real or just an idiot, etc. Be sincere in your life this way, and don't be afraid of being slapped by some random troll.
Something my dad told me once and I've told my boys...
If you dont like your life, fucking change it.
I changed careers and lifestyle at 40. Easy shit
A little more complicated than that, however thats great advice. Only you can.
