Yes, their intent is to destroy the economy and bring everything down. After the fall, they will own everything and have the reins of power. I suspect they have some things in reserve to keep that power, probably bioweapons and the cures for them. I believe that is why hundreds of microbiologists were killed a decade ago, people who would have recognized things and been a route to cures.

So in the next 3 to 5 years we will see the die-off, accompanied and followed by the collapse into feudal times. Governments may have semiconductors but mass commerce will collapse, so cell phones may go away. In 20 years it will be back to land lines and limited communications, public internet may be reduced. I foresee a technology decrease. John Deere automated tractors for Big Ag may be unavailable anymore but meanwhile the elite are killing off small farms, so what will we fall back on? The Amish may come out winners while the pizza-eating urbans will starve.
