Vaguely related : i knew a homeless dude that hung out in one of the shopping areas of my town named Arthur who said he invented that hot/cold packaging for the McDLT. Back then, i thought he was just a nutty type, but knowing the way corps are, these days i believe him. I do wonder thogh.
It's mostly grains that will be hit. This could be good for the world. Just turn the farm land into grazing land for animals and improve the human diet.
Instead of eating too many grains, which contributes to diabetes, we can eat meat and vegetables instead.
phasing out monoculture farming and returning to crop rotation would be overall for the best. Hopefully banning round up and other similar chemicals. Less graIns, less vegetable oils, less chemicals used the better.
That said, we are currently too reliant on nitrate fertilizers and the efforts to dramatically reduce their use have already started having dire consequences. Sri Lanka was the first to embrace madness and get a famine and a revolution as a result. More will follow.
A crisis they created? Gosh, mass famine. So you want us to stop raising cattle, chickens, beans, tomatoes, corn, wheat, turnips, and rutebagas.
Without cows, Nancy won't be able to buy any ice cream to put in her $17,000 fridge. That makes me very sad.
Mass famine coming? No meat for McDonalds? Sell McD short then. Unless they start raising crickets for the McCricket burger.

Because to stop using something one phases in the replacement and use financial incentives for users to make the transition - the carrot 🥕 .
Instead these idiots are using the stick by forcibly removing the incumbent methods and saying "deal with it" 😎
