This is a strategy Russia has been working since the start.
It's slow but methodical.
Pause...regroup...consolidate.
Push forward...repeat.
The areas they left behind are small, empty villages and hamlets. Not much in war prizes.
Larry Johnson at sonar21.com provides concise analytics on the SMO.
Russia's meat grinder tactics are still working.
Also, Russia still maintains control of the skies.
The tactic is called a feint.
Feint weakness before the adversary. Emboldens the enemy.
While a retreat is postured the regrouped battle groups move in flank positions.
Once the adversary takes the feint bait and moves in, the flanks close in like a trap door.
Adversary is engaged and the rear of the advancing adversary is closed.
Becomes a cauldron.
Pause. Regroup. Repeat.
A classic meat grinder.
Not western war tactics.
NATO trained Ukes, mercs cannot deal with it very well.
That hastily planned C.O. bit the Ukes in their asses.
It was to show success in order for more $ to flow.
Normies in Europe are catching on, though.
The peasants of Paris want out of NATO now.
Putin lost then...
Well, that's a bit premature.
The area in yellow is where the international arms and soldiers called "Ukranian" have had their first-ever success in six months of fighting:

The same publication have an aricle "Russian forces have collapsed in the East" which is untrue - I mean, get a grip. Still, this is not pro-russian propaganda.
