Our provinces do have some say in matters similar to the USA. Setting the drinking age and marijuanna laws are province specific, my province of Manitoba has 18 for drinking/smoking but the neighbouring ones were both 19(no one cares about up north boarder, too far to go for any town so no one really does it). We have tons of kids come from the next province over to party here where it’s legal and then go home. Not perfect but that’s the world we have.
