If we live on a sphere with a circumference of 24,901 miles then the geometry is inarguable and this curve should be observable on land and water over a given distance.
according to a quick google search...
Visual daytime observations show that the minimum altitude at which curvature of the horizon can be detected is at or slightly below 35,000 ft, providing that the field of view is wide (60 degrees ) and nearly cloud free.

no , not at all. standing on a perfectly smooth ball as large as the Earth... you would see zero curvature - technically there will be a 0.12 degree arc, but you won't be able to see that with your eyes.

no bro... standing on a huge ball as big as the earth... the arc is so small you won't see it.
you would have better luck to see the curvature of the Earth ...as it drops-out over the horizon....
