let's make it easy... and just assume i am able to build a 128 mile tall building.
let's also also assume my building is 128 miles wide and deep.
basically a huge block that is 128 miles in every direction.
yes? are you with me?
OK now let's paint this massive block the colors of the rainbow....
20 mile tall band of red at the top; and then...
20 mile tall band of orange; and then...
20 mile tall band of yellow; and then...
all the way down to a 20 mile band of purple at the bottom.
now... hold my hand, and let's take a walk.
if we walk 1000 miles away from my 128 mile tall/wide building:
science says: you will not be able to see this building any more - not even with a strong zoom lens.
flat earth says: you can see 100% of the building with a strong enough zoom lens.
but what if we walk only 500 miles away from my 128 mile tall/wide building -- half way....
science says: you will be able to see half the building - specifically... just the red and the orange and the yellow. i.e., the top half - not a small version of the whole thing... THE TOP HALF will be visible.
yes?
no zoom lens necessary :) that thing is huge. like seriously huge.
flat earth says: you can see 100% of the building with a strong enough zoom lens.
i am saying... without a zoom lens ...half will be visible . and half will be hidden.
do you agree?
you're saying... half will be visible without a zoom lens - and the other half will be visible with a strong enough zoom lens?
at 500 miles, you are saying 100% will be visible?
so... from a tall enough vantage point - empire state building, for example, you can see someone on the shores of the UK -- if only you had a strong enough zoom lens?
is that what you are saying??
like ... someone on the shores of australia could see someone on the shores of alaska... because water always finds a level... if only you had a strong enough zoom lens.
you believe that?
and you also believe there are no satellites
and space doesn't exist.
does the moon exist, or is the moon an illusion?
i'm still trying ti figure out if you guys believe in geometry or not...
thank you.

maybe not in beijing but whatever... yes... a super clear day :)
yes fine fine a vaccum - whatever you need bro...
interesting. so...
do you believe there is an "edge" ? like... if you sail to the edge of Earth (or fly or walk or whatever) then... you'll fall off into space ? :)
i'm just chatting
but seriously, i think you missed my point.
