What happened to all those container ships on the West coast? Then various Chinese COVID lockdowns. Now major recessions. Not enough trade to open new factories. Closing existing is odd. But again stock is running out. Massive microprocessor shortage. Again further disruptions to a host of products and production.
But okay the price is now becoming non competitive. As energy prices soar. Until you find its cheaper or the same price as national stores.
China taking same route as Russia not quite. Its economy would barrel far quicker. It makes a staggering percentage of global products made. West are its biggest markets. Jinx them. Prices soar on all their crap supplied to everybody else. West can force that hand far easier. China won't adapt well, but it could lead to war. But cutting its biggest buyers yawn. Not a recipie for intelligence. Who buys it. Not nearly enough of a trade off. Not yet.
