That is an interesting idea. I'd like to add, the opposite might be true. If you feel your life has turned to shit, change it, change the road you are on. Find your life path, and life magically gets better.

Very interesting. Everything in life is a test, everything. I let the Holy Spirit guide my path. Trusting that God has a plan and sometimes I'm being served / ministered to and other times I'm the one ministering / serving. I fully believe I can direct my path or change the path much as described in that link you provided in your comment. Yes, sometimes changing of the path is an off-road adventure, but I am sure everything will work out in the end.
