Fires/Cars * Miles/Fires --- Miles/Car per single 1
Said another way.....
Everytime a Tesla drives 7000 miles....another possibly** bursts into flames.
So....every 7000 miles you have a 1/3M chance of being that Tesla. ;)
--- rough probability of injury or death being a Tesla owner because of their Tesla's....1/70000 from fire risk.
1 out of every 70000 Tesla's will burn over their lifetime....
Including car crashes. That is a way better number than gas cars that actually burn all the time. Again more FUD.

Just look at how safe the teslas are. And every year they get even safer. Keep pushing your BS FUD bud.
TBF, I did look at the report from them directly that is referenced, and you may be right about the fire safety being safer...Teslas could possibly have 10x fewer fires....
Assuming that the only fires are ones reported in the media....
If that is not the case, and there are many more which go unreported....the it is possible they both inflate the "vehicles" as a whole category and possibly distort the picture on their own performance.
If the numbers are true, then I take it back, the fires are less an issue than typical cars,
Solid comment. BDE all the way ;)
