Not Jewish, but I stated where walls work. Because it keeps the barbarians out. See China had an army defending their wall. Sentries like that at every other post where you don't want invaders. Sentries have guns to shoot people. They aren't just for show. They don't want their post invaded. Those walls work am I right. No difference. You've forgotten what it means. Why we have walls in the first place. Why you own a gun in your nation, of course now it is subject to law and order. But then you owned your land, protecting it when the standing army wasn't. It was subject to invasion. Today law order has failed. I wonder why? They aren't keeping their citizens protected unlike my previous comparison.
Bribing sentries sometimes works. But generally speaking, the wall when defended, because it is defenses, keeps people out, because any sentries are prepared to shoot trespassers. Otherwise there's no real point in having a wall people can climb over.
Trespassers will get shot. Invasion deterred.
Good, sign me up for the border patrol.
