Facebook is nothing compared to Google in tracking on third-party sites. Orders of magnitude more sites loads tons of crap from Google servers (from fonts to js frameworks).

In any case, browsing modern internet without uBlock(Origin), CookieAutoDelete, Clear URLs, Canvas Blocker and other addons that removes and trick all that WantToBeBigBrother bastards is just stupid. Even dramatic page loading speed up due to removing all that unnecessary tracking and annoying crap is worth using that useful addons.

Also highly recommend to turn off "serviceworkers" in browser if possible. "Serviceworkers" is Javascript code that continue to work in browser even if you closed the page. Eats a lot of memory and processor and do anything they want without any user notification. Enter in URL bar "about:serviceworkers" for Firefox or "chrome://serviceworker-internals/" for all Chrome-based browsers to see how much shit you don't even suspect about you gathered browsing internet. AFAIK only in Firefox you could disable "serviceworkers" easily (just set dom.serviceWorkers.enabled to false in about:config).

I use Brave, Windscribe, Adguard and Adguard dns.

Windscribe uses Ublock and custom filter lists.

I set never accept third party cookies, no tracking cookies through brave as well as Windscribe and Adguard does it even better. On top of the Desktop program for Adguard and extension they even have a custom DNS server that blocks trackers ads etc.

I also have my user agent rotated every few clicks, timezone matching vpn, etc. Webrtc leak protection, social scrip[ts and share buttons filtered.

The reason I like the adguard dns is because most of the tracking and other privacy concerns are filtered out before they can even load. Where as the extensions do it basically post discovery.

Highly recommend Adguard.
