I'll vouch for the statements about using AI. Much of it has been implemented in Silicon Valley. Recently Google fired an engineer who tried to warn people about the technology. The technology was so effective he believed the AI was conscious. He was wrong, but it shows that the chatbot technology is so advanced that yes, they can replicate your friends or relatives online.
